Now open in Peckham. Schnitzel, sharp beats and distinctly good vibes.

Schnitzel night

Big Bad Wolf is an independent neighbourhood restaurant in Peckham. Fresh, flavour-driven food, specialist imported beers and spirits, and an urban identity inspired by hip-hop, street art, music and design.

The menu draws on German, Austrian, Italian and Spanish cooking and puts a fresh spin on familiar favourites: Holstein schnitzel with fried egg, anchovies, capers and brown butter, smoked cheddar croquetas, the Bikini Sando, and insanely addictive desserts. Behind the bar is a selection of drinks that are off the beaten path, brought in at great length and painful import duty.

Music is the anchor. Peckham's rap and hip-hop scene has produced some of the most outstanding UK talents of the genre, and we know we're standing on the shoulders of giants. Our soundtrack is rooted in hip-hop and rap, with a handpicked circle of DJs invited to play on selected nights.

We want this to feel part of Peckham: a place to eat well, discover interesting drinks, find new beats and spend time with friends. We've just opened, so come in, meet the team and try the menu.
